Speaking with a good friend and yoga partner today about her desire to conceive, I remembered Jeannine Parvati Baker, whose book Prenatal Yoga & Natural Childbirth I studied and practiced every day of my pregnancy with Dante. She has such loving energy emanating from the pages of her book, an amazing source of love, nurturing and comfort during a very difficult phase in my life.

Tuesday night I had dinner at Holdren’s on State Street with my four lovely co-workers (NHR’s marketing department is comprised 100% of foxy ladies – and 1 male VP). If you’ve never been to a Waldorf birthday celebration, they are wonderful, imbuing a sense of wonder and awe in most children I’ve ever met. It is seen as a very special time, one in which the children are poingantly focused and aware. It’s beautiful. Long live Waldorf education!
