Standing Women – Mother’s Day – Global Circles
Aloha Ladies, Mamas, Goddesses~
I love the idea of the Standing Women circles and wish to connect with all of you so that you can add your voices to the collective cry for peace and prosperity for all on this earth. The women below are quite inspiring, and you all are quite inspiring too. We need as much inspiration added to our planet now as possible, so please join us!

*Cross Organizational Communique: Global Circles May 2010*
*In 2007 Standing Women unleashed a wave of pure energy to stand for a
better world. We saw ordinary women from all over the world posting their
intention that earth become a better home for its children.
In 2008 a worldwide economic crisis of unprecedented proportion revealed the
greed and fear that drives many of our institutions. It became a concensus
that change for the better was needed.
In 2009 the World Parliament of Religions celebrated the sacred feminine and
indigenous wisdom, while the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference brought
together a grassroots movement to protect our mother earth. New projects
continue to unfold bringing a new wave of wisdom for change.
In 2010 women’s leadership and the role of women in public affairs is a
major focus in the media. The call for women to come together for the sake
of the earth and its children grows even stronger…

invitation<http://lightpages.net/intergroup.cfm?view=e335faf4101711982f14123d8cdde1d5>to
stand together for a better world on May 9, 2010, 1 pm.
*
The phrase “*Now is the time*” has been calling women together for some
time, but never more intensely than it is in this moment. All of us are
being awakened to the realities we live in, and many of us are feeling an
urgency inside to act, often accompanied by a pregnant silence in which the
question resounds… what is to be done?!
We are at the edge of evolution… the edge where *our every thought and
action co-creates our future*. There is reason to pause until we feel
peaceful and certain of our next steps…
When women come together in circle, in deep common intention, our unity
opens a door for us to relax into who we really are, and from that place our
wisdom flows. Initiatives that ask us to participate locally in a global
intention are like *worldwide circles that can align us with our own truth
in these uncertain times.*
*Please find below several “Global Circles”* that offer us moments of
reflection, unity, and clarity for our personal choices. Let us tune in and
unite through them as best we can, that our next steps come clear within us
and move us gracefully forward for the good of us all.
*May 1, 1 pm. World Labyrinth Walk Day. *www.labyrinthsociety.org. “Walk as
One at 1… to inspire possibilities and create connections through the
labyrinth.” . Labyrinths are an ancient path to self-realization. Walking
them anytime can bring us into a shared space of Stillness, where the
complexities of life resolve into one step at a time. Post your walks on the
site to reflect that Stillness available everywhere.
*May 9, Mother’s Day in many countries, 1 pm.* www.standingwomen.org. Stand
together to “save the world”, after Sharon Mehdi’s famous children’s story.
Read the inspiring story and register your standing on the site; post your
pictures there, too; that we may know ourselves as part of a growing global
movement of women committed to a better world for the children. Read the

*May 9, with your Standing Women moment, or whenever you can.*
www.wayswomenlead.net. Read together a powerful declaration for the dignity
of womankind and against sex trafficking, that begins “We the Women of the
World”<http://lightpages.net/mydocuments/We%20The%20Women%20Declaration%202-24-10.pdf>.

and grow momentum for change that honors women and children.
*May 18, World Prayer for Water Day.* www.waterblessings.org. From the
energy of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, from the Sisterhood of Planetary
Water Rites, comes the invitation to pray together for the world’s water.
Join the ceremony in your local area and be listed on their site. “Start
talking to the water, as I believe our Mother Earth is angry at us. We
aren’t grateful to the water, and she’s calling it back. When you drink the
water, bless it,” writes Grandmother Agnes Baker-Pilgrim, Chairperson of the
Thirteen International Indigenous Grandmothers.
*There is a message that is being heard around the world. It is saying:
“Women wake up… you can lead… hold hands and work together… unite
forcefully.” It is demanding: “Stand on every corner of your world and say
“No!” to all voices of hate, all voices of blame, all voices of shame and
belittlement…” and say, “This is my world, my life, my family.”
Feminine leadership that honors justice and equality will lead the world to
peace. We are the ones to pluck away, to remove the choking forms of usury,
deceit, greed and abuse. The message is beyond our personal creation. It
encompasses the global family and will not be silenced. …Read
